I have a passion for families and family is a big part of my life. I started my career as an Attorney, for legal services, and was head of the “Foreclosure Advocacy Program,” in our Yonkers’ office in New York. When the 2009 crash occurred, we were advocating, along with the Department of Justice (DOJ), to save home-owners from losing their homes and providing clients with access to the Obama mortgage relief program.
Like many – the call of the South tugged at my heart. In 2015 we packed everything up and moved to Georgia. We were drawn by the rich culture, history and of course – the food! As a side note – I look at the world through several lenses, which is why I can see both points of views in any situation (“devil’s advocate”). This is probably why my second passion is photography.
At the Law Offices of Williams & Associates, I currently serve as the Managing Attorney – overseeing much of the work that we do to help our clients navigate through the hoops and hurdles of personal injury issues.
My legal education started at Thomas Cooley Law School where I received my Juris Doctorate Degree in 2009. After successfully passing the bar exams – II was able to begin practicing law in New York as a Personal Injury Attorney. I now hold a license to practice in both New York and Georgia.
I believe that everyone deserves what is due to them and I am on a mission to represent injured clients who are seeking justice for their injuries. I don’t rest until our clients have the power and knowledge to learn to become advocates in their own lives – That means I am determined to deliver compassion, collaborative legal solutions, excellent legal representation and quality customer service to all who touch down with Williams & Associates.
Giving back to the community is big for me – It has been my honor to have been awarded and acknowledged with “Woman of Empowerment,” “Top 10 under 40,” “10 Best Attorneys,” and “The National Black Lawyers: 100.” Looking forward to many more opportunities to have a positive impact in the lives around me.
